OUR PARTNERS
Set Yourself Free is administered by the Youth Action Council of Arizona. We provide information and referral, mentoring, career development, and networking to youth with disabilities ages 14 to 30. These services are provided to youth by youth using the innovative YAKKIT.org website, electronic newsletters, mentoring programs for youth who serve on community boards and committees, and social and legislative advocacy around disability-specific issues.
Fast Track to Success
The Fast Track Program is a 24-hour program designed to help young adults acquire the skills necessary to make the transition to all aspects of adult life.

Youth Action Council of Arizona (YAC-AZ) serves as the youth recruitment and organization tool of SYF. Its purpose is to provide youth with disabilities a group in which they have the opportunity to meet, interact, and work with other youth towards the common goal of promoting self-determination through independence and self advocacy. Since its inception, YAC-AZ has consisted of youth, whose members range in age from fourteen to thirty. The youth governing board works hard to set an agenda in compliance with YAC-AZ goals. Members of YACA-AZ undergo training in life skills, Fast Track Program, that teach the necessary skills to live healthier and more independent lives within their communities.
